    Bingo.

And Tom, if you continue to have problems reaching T&H for samples, I'll gladly send you an untouched sample of their Spanish Leather cologne. I got one from T&H but received another from an order I placed with on-the-fly.com, so I do have one I can spare. I'll send it to you, no strings attached. Let me know.

Penhaligon's has such a set for sale. It's not the complete line of scents for men and women, but you do get a nice selection. They also send free samples of very generous size.

One more thing: Since we're talking about asking for free stuff, don't be offended when your e-mail finds its way to the bottom of the to-do list. Customer-service reps are paid to deal with existing customers and large accounts first. You may get an auto-reply, a form response, a few words, or nothing at all.

    I'm in no hurry

As far as I'm concerned They've got weeks to respond, as long as they at least respond.

Excellent! Penhaligon's makes my favorite cologne. Keep in mind that the company has a presence in the U.S., which makes it simple for me to get mine. Your samples may come from London, and I have no idea how long such things take to get through customs and other lovely organizations on their way to the beautiful Netherlands.

Their Spanish Leather is absolutely amazing stuff. I'm definitely going to buy some when my sample runs out.

Well, I don't necessarily think it's a good idea to rattle the cages and demand free stuff via any sort of campaign. Any company that's nice enough to respond to a request (even if it's just a politely worded "sorry, we no longer give out samples") goes up a few notches in my estimation, and a company that does give out samples will, obviously, be at the top of my interest list. I also intend on buying at least one thing from any company that sends out samples to me, I mean it's the right thing to do and I'm sure I can find at least one thing in their product line that I'll use.

I intend on acting like a gentleman when I interact with these companies. I appreciate it when they treat me like a gentleman in return and I feel that I need to earn that treatment, or at least deserve it. I'm sorry but I won't be partaking in any email campaign. If a company chooses to not respond or not send samples that is their right and althought I might not try them initially, I'll probably eventually get around to trying them some day down the road anyway.

Oops thats right its Taylors who never sends out samples anymore, not T&H. Its still weird though. T&H seems to pick and choose who they respond and send out samples too. Trumpers seems to send samples out right away, has anyone had trouble getting samples from GFT?

I have yet to receive anything from GFT, but that's okay.
