    The bad news, there seems to be some evidence that the only part of the human body that grows larger with age is the ear lobe.
    So old gits like me have a bigger target which we need to avoid. Seems unfair.

    Hehehe. Maybe it is an Aussie thing? First ever pass with a straight opened up my ear nicely. Not a serious cut but the best bleeder I can recall from shaving related efforts.

    At risk of starting an argument with this little joke that follows, perhaps it is just that the quiet Australian is a better listener, and therefore has bigger ears, compared to our American cousins that seem to never shut their yaps and shout at each other from two paces away with their bigger mouths... Now that is meant to be a joke gents, I don't mean any offence...I'm just running over there now to take cover....!
