Thanked: 2Sensei,
Who (what troops) are getting this? Where are you sending all of this great stuff to?
I am just wondering because I am in the military (Navy) and obviously have friends either abroad (Afghan., Iraq, Africa, etc) or are going there.
Just asking because I was just wondering what unit you have connections with.

Thus far, shaving items have went to members of the Oklahoma National Guard, 45th Infantry serving in Afghanistan as part of Operation Phoenix. I sent a small resupply box last week that should see the guys we've outfitted through the remainder of their deployment, provided it isn't extended drastically.
One of the members here (TomlinAS) a marine serving in Iraq. He has some guys in forward operating bases who are suffering from similar supply issues. I have sent both PM's via the board and e-mail to him requesting he come up with some contact information for his fellow marines. No word back from him yet.
In the event things fall through with the sarge, I'll find another unit to send stuff to. There are folks here who know people, and I'd like to keep it in the family so to speak. If that doesn't work out, another military unit (possibly the South Carolina National Guard from what I can find in the media) will be relieving my contact, and I send stuff to those guys.

Had a nice surprise when I arrived home tonight -- a huge box from Colleen full of her shaving & bath soaps! The scents are totally amazing guys. Thanks Colleen!
