Your iPad will be obsolete in 6 months. Your grandson's grandson might just use your Boker Red Injun. I'm not sayin...I'm just sayin. I guess I'm just not horribly impressed by the latest and greatest gadgets. MP3's and iPods are cool because they make enormous quantities of music easily portable. I'm also a fan of Kindles. Same concept, an enormous quantity of books in a small, very portable package. I guess I just don't feel the need to be connected at the iPad level. After all, I don't carry a cell phone, I'm not on Facebook, I don't Tweet or Twitter and truth be told, SRP is where I'm at on the internet most of the time, so this choice would really be a no brainer for me. I'd take that Ipad money and go find me a pristine Dubl Duck Golden Edge, a pair of full quil Ostrich Cowboy Boots, and an Akubra Campdraft. If I had enough change left, I'd hit the store on the way home and pick up a 12 pack of tasty cervezas or perhaps a large jug of Jameson's. But that's just me.

If I already have razors and ipads then I guess I'd rather have another razor. It'll last longer

This is easy. My wife is the one who likes to keep up with all the latest electronic stuff. If I want to play with anything like that I just borrow her's. But when it comes to razors, if I left it up to her what razor I could play with I would only have a horrible M3 thingy.

Damn, you blokes have put me in a quandary. I voted other because I don't need another razor, I'm a bit of a tech freak on the inside (and a tech idiot on the outside) but I still don't see the point of an ipad or any of it's cousins. I was thinking I would just spend the money on a bike service and go for a ride, but then Mick mentioned coffee machines and I thought that would be handy to have too, then JohnnyCakeDC mentioned a new gun and I thought, I could really use an IAC Lever 12 guage custom with 16" barrel..Just how much is an Ipad anyway????!
