3,000 is only a matter of time. And at the rate this forum is growing, we'll be pretty big eventually.

We seem to have a very loyal "core" group, and that's good. I mean, I left for six months, and the same guys were here when I came back. Rich was even still shaving commando. Every forum needs its resident blabbermouths.

I still think it is a joke.

I think it makes sense to give recognition for posting milestones, just like we do for longevity, but calling someone a blabbermouth is not the way to do it. It suggests someone who is verbose, instead of being a valuable contributor.

We give gold stars for time milestones. We could give another symbol (e.g. a thumbs up or a gold razor) for posting milestones, say one for every 1000. That way we can not only tell who the oldtimers are, but how active they've been.

Personally, I'm not interested in being a blabbermouth, but I would be honored to receive a form of serious recognition for my efforts in posting.

I do like the gold razor idea for every 1000 posts...but there is only so much room next to the name field?? I mean at the current post rate Ilija could have 4 razors by his name in a few months LOL! We might start running out of room...the other problem is the blabbermouth icon is so cool cause its animated lol....you cant have it overshadowing a staionary golden razor.
