    Gary,

My condolences. I haven't been on the board much lately due to my own issues, both family and financial. Bill sent me a really really nice razor right at the start of all the medical stuff and it really made much brighter when I received it. He's been in touch regularly via email checking to see how things are going for me also, a true gentleman.

Is ebay very big in NZ? You may want to try selling things on ebay. Find something common and easily affordable in NZ that's a hit internationally and you'll have it made.

I'm trying to set up an ebay shop. I've got my 2002 vw beetle (diesel) up for sale to get enough "seed money" to start hitting the local auctions and trying to get viable things to sell and profit from. I've got all the ebay books from the local library and am trying to force myself to read them (A.D.D. makes it slow )

Also, if you are good at discerning popular books and can get used books easily, cheaply in your area, amazon.com will let you list used books. A local fellow here is showing me how to find books to sell. He lost his job around the same time I did (over 6 years ago) but he went straight into selling books on amazon and now he's able to support his family completely from book sales plus he managed to put back his children's college funds.

I hope things start looking up for you. Times are tough now internationally. I'll add you back to my prayers now that I know your last job didn't last. Feel free to email me if you ever need to vent. I'm good at listening and sympathising.

    Glen F

you know ... it would only take a few guys here to open a world class barber shop/shave shop. the biggest hump would be finding 2-3 world class barbers, but other than that could do custom razors, sharpening, classes on shaving, carry all the great shaving products. blow AOS out of the water :-) franchising options for SRP members?
