Josh, Regardless how things end up, Thank you for all your efforts. That goes for you too, Donald. As the saying goes "No good deed goes unpunished".

Thanked: 0I realize that this might be a no-go, but if it does go through, I would like to know how to obtain an SRP jacket. What about a Cafe-Press store using the SRP logo for stuff? Just a thought. Proceeds could to go maintaining the website, or other SRP schtuff. Just an idea.

Cafe Press is a rip off they are very expensive, so I dont know that they would be a great idea. Its not that the jackets are a bad idea, or a no go, its just that THIS jacket or dealing with Cabelas may be a no go. I would like to deal with Donald, but it would require starting from scratch with a new jacket selection and price range. It would be much easier to refund all the orders and start over rather than trying to figure out who paid what and who owes how much.
Im just really pissed off at cabelas because when I order from them for personal goods they have always been great to deal with. Cabelas corporate seems like a different company who I will never deal with again.

Josh,
I have found that the best embroidery jobs are done by those companies that make the patches for police uniforms. Here in Austin there is a company that make patches for a large number of police agencies in the state. I have dealt with them several times with excellent results. Maybe you can find who makes the patches for your local police agencies, I'm sure they will take your order. They should also have a large selection of jackets.
If you are going to start over it would not hurt to try to make this connection. I could even put you in contact with the folks here in Austin if you like.

I think I will be issuing refunds, I just got out of the hospital. I tore my pec lifting (same side as my shoulder surgery) and I am now one handed and doped up on dilaudid and percocet and utterly useless. I'll know more about me and the jackets next week.

Thanked: 4Screw the jackets, just concentrate on your health Josh! I'm still re-habbing from rotator cuff surgery myself, so between the two of us, we'd make one decent shaver. How did you manage to injure yourself, anyway!

I just sent everyone money via paypal for the amount they paid for the jackets. The only payments that I did not refund were donations for my jacket and Colleen's jacket. The payments were so scattered that it was just to difficult to find looking at my paypal history. If you guys who made donations could send payment requests in the amount that you donated and I will refund the donations that way. Sorry about all this but with the lack of one hand and the Cabela's fiasco I just give up on ordering the jackets from them. I certainly think other companies may be good for us, but at the moment I am in no position to stay on top of all of this.
As far as the injury, that was in the gym....my surgeon says its my muscles telling me Im getting older...but when I heal Im just going to be back in the gym doing it again lol.
