Josh,
What you said in your last statement is the way to go. I have no vested interest in this. I am not making a dime. The digitizer I am using for this is the guy that did my logo for my Harley business. I want to tell you he blew me away with the detail in this embroidery disk. I have been doing this for a long time and it takes something pretty special to turn my head and believe me this was the finest job of digitizing that I have ever seen. Please remember fella's this disk can be run on any piece of clothing that will take a 4x4 logo. So the cost is spead out over the length of the use on the logo. This isn't a job that has to be repeated everytime you want clothing. Trust me it would be the best $60.00 you would ever spend on embroidery design. If it ain't what you like YOU DON"T PAY!!
Donald
P.S.
Josh, You make a very good point. You will OWN the embroidery disk. Not so with Cabela's

I spoke to Cabela's today and they offered to refund the initial embroidery production fee of due to our issues. We will be going with Donald and getting a superior embroidery file which we can use on the jackets and on future projects. We will actually be saving money as Donalds cost is less than Cabela's so the jackets should be a few dollars cheaper. Once the thread count is determined, I will let you know how much each of you will be getting refunded, I expect that it will probably be around $5.00 or so.

Thanked: 4Thanks Donald and Josh for both going the extra mile for real quality. The quality matters a lot more than a few dollars here or there, and having possession of the disc is a real bonus.
So we can expect our jackets by New Year's, right?

Well guys I got my first version of the Embroidery disk yesterday and my designers were much better on the areas of concern that Josh expressed to me. The Razor itself is much more realistic and instead of the blade being just one solid color my guy was able to incorporate the shading effect in the original art. Trust me this is not easy to do with thread. The letters Straight Razor Place are also much better and the web address below the logo is clearer to read as well. These were the areas of concern that Josh had identified to me. There were two small issues that I saw that I wanted adjusted. To the average end user (customer) these would probably not have been noticeed, but I knew that they were there and I sent the disk back to address these two issues. I should get the new version tomorrow.
Ciao, fellow blade lovers

Well Donald sent me a copy of the new sew out...what do you guys think, it would be easy at this point to change anything. If all is ok, it will go to Cabelas, and they will put it on the jackets.
Keep in mind that this exactly what the image will look like when embroidered so you dont have to worry about any major changes between what you see now and whats on the jacket. The only change that may be made is the color of the web address depending on the color of jacket you ordered.

Hi guys,
The sew out here will run (on the machines) smoothly. The blade in this version looks much better. The camera used is a very high mega pixel and really magnify's the details. The sew out was done on a different color cloth than what I requested so I digitally changed the background to the tan color that you see. The edges will be sharper on the actual products for this reason.

Good Morning Gentlemen!
uhhh...cough....I hate to ask someone to explain to me about the jackets. Everyone is talking as though "an order has been placed for their jackets??" I can see I need to spend a little more time out here!
I read back to the beginning of the thread...but I don't see how to get one.....but, I want one too!!! Somebody send me a PM about cost and size!
