The embroidery disk was reproduced from the original logo designed and supplied by SRP. Please keep in mind here we are looking at thread generated design, a reproduction created by a sewing machine. It is not possible to recreate any logo with the definition of original art work. The proccess just doesn't alow it. As for the blade size have another look with proportion in mind, if you do this the blade is exactly as it should be. There was a deliberate attempt to try and recreate the shading effect on the original art. The digitizer did an amazing job creating this effect with thread. Unless you are dealing with these types of effects on a regular basis it is hard to appreciate just what can and can't be done in this format. This blade looks 100% better than the two version I was given to fix.
Other types of products have their own chalenges and these are dealt with by using the best people in the industry to address them. Sometimes this is reflected in the cost but 99.9% of the time the cost is more than justified.

Thanked: 4I think nenad was yanking your chain a bit, Donald. I think it looks great. Thank god that Josh didn't dictate the blade size on that or it would have taken ten times the thread.

Just an update, Cabelas has the image from Donald and I am waiting for them to get back to me with the final stitch count they will use, the final cost (it will not be more than you already paid, it may be less though), but I cant pay them until they figure out how much they will charge for the stitches. I have been waiting for a return call all week. I have become less than thrilled with their service since the holiday season has come and gone, but I have some free time next week and I will be calling them until I get a final answer.

And in the end if its not a cool jacket all of us who ordered them can go over to Josh's house and we can have a "razor party".

Josh,
The stitch count should be priced at 13,000 stitches. Im not sure on the quantity of jackets you ordered but the charge shouldn't be more than $7.00 per jacket. These are standard charges and they should have a standard rate for the number of jackets you ordered. You should be able to get the information on pricing in one phone call. Next time guys I can get this done much more profesional. Cabela's is a large company and embroidery is not their main line of business, in fact im sure they sub contract the embroidery out and this is probably where your delay is coming from. No one's fault except Cabela's.
