Thread: The Facts

Hi Guys,

It has been brought to my attention that there is a thread over at B&B which contains derogatory information about me. My understanding is that B&B has now adopted a non bashing policy unless it is about me or SRP unfortunately.

In any case, I exchanged over a dozen emails with a customer regarding sharpening his razor. I informed this man that in my opinion, his razor looked like someone tried to hone it and he denied this. I advised him on January 16 that his razor was picked up from the post office that day. I advised him on January 23 that I should have his razor on the way back to him by the end of that week. I was not able to make it to the post office on the 25th and mailed the razor back on the 28th. After receiving an email from this person questioning my integrity and accusing me of keeping his razor of all things, I called him and left him a message that I would prefer he never send me another razor.

His posting on B&B does not contain this information.

This is why we have a non bashing policy here at SRP and will always have it and enforce it appropriately.

It's OK, Lynn! We don't look at B&B! Do We? Of course not! We all know you have PLENTY razors!

Sorry for the issue Lynn,as a former banned member of BB. is alot of bad feelings on that site towards SRP,consider the source and move on, BB has nothing of real import to provide as far as we do here.Carry on.your rep cannot be dissed by the unknowing.JMO

That's a shame, so many little people trying to make themselves feel important. I for one say Thank-you Lynn for the site you founded and for those that moderate it, the admins who attend to running it, etc. I'm thankful I found SRP first when I started straight shaving, or who knows where I would be today.

Cant say I have ever been on that site, and I dont much care to look. I may not agree with some of the mod policies here, but I have always been pleased with the lack of "bash"
If somebody wants to complain that a razor took too long, then they have obviously never had to run a business of their own, where things dont always go like clockwork. Joke 'em if they cant take a duck

Thankyou for this great resource. No one can ever satisfy every customer/client/member. No one who regularly participates on any shaving forum believes that you want to keep this client's razor or would want anything other than being as helpful as reasonably possible to those interested in straight razors and wet shaving..

What does a Bed and Breakfast have to do with shaving?

B&B? Is there room service?
