There will be no FEE to attend this event what so ever. I will have a jar sitting out that people may throw into to cover the cost of Coffee, Bottled water, Ice. But adding to it is not asked nor required.
As far as help I am going to have to clean the place up and haul the trash out at the end of each day. If anyone is willing to help I would be grateful. A Case of drinks would help. I will have 4-5 Ice chest with Ice there. Along with a coffee maker & Bottled water.
I am working with Nipper this weekend to come up with an Unofficial schedule. Lynn has said he will do 4 honing demos between regular stuff. They will cover: Bevel setting, Pyramid method, Single stone Honing & Circle Method Honing. If there is anyone that would like to do a demo please step forward and let me know so we can figure out a time slot and area for you. I would like to see us build this event on inclusion of as people doing demos as possible.
We have 2 days of meetup and no style is wrong. I will not be doing much besides making sure everyone is taken care of and maybe hone some razors for some new guys - So the bottom line is we need help with demos.
Sure some people are not interested in all the demos and will just sit and talk to other people and this is fine also. I should have a room for just that.
As a thought that might help everyone.
If anyone has some some extra soap / cream they could bring and everyone brought a bottle of water from their own tap, this may be a chance to find out how a soap / cream they are thinking about buying would work with their water. (Just an idea)
I know there isn't a fee. I was saying that's a question we get a lot via email.
I'm suggesting people support the vendors posted on the site. Not that anyone has to just shedding some love and appreciation for what they do for us.
I understand - just want to clear the air so you don't have to keep answering the same old question.

I was going to post the link for the crown Plaza for the corporate rate of $114.00. But there is a glitch in the system and it is showing the regular rate of $249.00. I want to get it fixed before it is posted. As Randydance posted there are other hotels that are less hard on the pocket book.

Is there anyone with a small lathe that is coming that might be interested in doing a brush making DEMO? I have an covered area outside with power.
Nipper and I worked yesterday on the different DEMO ideas and this came to mind. With as many guys making brushes this seemed to fit.
We are talking to a member now that does outstanding restoration work. If we can work it out besides the usual pinning session. We hope to have Acrylic work, Blade sanding and polish, Scale Buffing. Pinning, ETC
