Only about 120 miles for me. Weather permitting it sounds like a nice bike ride to me too. (Still have to double check my calendar, though)

Gentlemen Attending the Asheville Meet Up,
I am most please to be able to announce that for those of you who have had the experience, and for those of you that would like to for the first time. Straight Razor Shaves are available from a licensed NC. Barber.
While leaning back in a 1950's barber chair and listening to the sounds of times past. My Barber has agreed to do Straight razor shaves complete with hot towel and lather from the old machine in other words the whole works during our meet up.
This "MAN" pleasure will be available exclusively to men attending this meet up and done at his shop, located only 8 minutes away from our meeting area. I will be doing a sign up sheet for time slots. If this trip down memory lane is of interest to you, feel free to PM me for a time slot. If there is enough interest Alan may be willing to start Friday afternoon & Finish Sunday morning.
Here is a review of his shop posted on YELP:
Excellent classic barber shop. Alan is a student of "vintage" cuts and has studied doo's from movie stars of the 20s thru 50s. Hot towel, neck shave, talk about hot rods, Triumphs, anything fifties and you're on your way. Not a pretentious hipster joint, the real deal. Decor is collection of vintage items and cool artwork.
Well there you go guys, another good reason to attend this meet up.

With the way this is going I have secured the building for a 2 day event. it would not be right to ask anyone to drive that far for only 1 day. The more time we spend together the more each of us will gain from the other.
