Thanked: 4206Dress is casual, grown up refreshments welcome, and if the weather cooperates cigars as well since we can be outdoors. Pools open if people take their wet shaving to extremes..;-)
Really sorry you can't make it Phrank, but i understand busy. Do you know if Val will still be able to attend? The more the merrier.
I'll have the beef and buns covered, but snacks will always be welcomed. Whatever goes with fire cooked cow.
Depending on head count, I should have enough chairs, in or out.
This will only be my second GTG and second year of straight shaving but the one last year was laid back and both casual and educational. Kicked the acquisition disorders into high gear for a while too.. Hehe
Cheers gents, just over a week to go.

So excited. Raided an antique store and came away with three rough straights including a Boker, Old Spice shaving mugs, a Gillette Fatboy DE, vintage 3 hole DE blades, a Gillette razor blade container and a Razorbrite razor bath. Will show you all when I'm there.

Thanked: 49Sounds like quite a haul. Good for you. I'm very jealous. The only fatboy I've seen in the wild has a price tag of $175 with the case. That is also the only adjustable I have seen.
I wish I could make it, but unfortunately it is not to be. Maybe next time. Ihope everyone has a great time.“To be fair, I did have a couple of gadgets which he probably didn’t, like a teaspoon and an open mind.”

Thanked: 4206Nice haul indeed. I'm on the seek for an old spice scuttle so look forward to eyeing it.
Regarding what to bring gents, bev's of choice, favorite smokes,if so inclined. Your finest,or worstest blades for viewing and sharpening pleasure. Maybe some snacks that you are partial to. Hones, stones, whiskers, whiskey and stories.
Believe I got everything else covered.
Here's hoping we got the weather on our side once more..
Cheers.
