I'm going to be in Vancouver soon, so....
I'm going to be in Vancouver from the 17th to the 23rd of this month to attend a conference with my wife. We're going to be staying at a Hyatt hotel and I have no idea if there is more than one. If anyone would like to get together some evening for a couple of hours for a mini meet-up, or just a beer, please let me know. Since we'll be flying, my supply of hones will be severely limited but I can bring a few. Please let me know if anyone is interested in getting together.

R, I don't yet have visibility of those dates yet, but would gladly drive an hour+ to meet you.
Guys in the Portland area, Utopian is a very experienced and helpful guy w/ the blades & stones. 'Would be worth some effort to get some time with him. Relentlessly objective in testing, not one to follow received wisdon w/out his own testing (reference his using cereal box cardboard w/ crox for finishing). Do you know anyone else that has gotten 3+ yrs from a puck of soap?

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger Ron. Only reason I know there is a Vancouver in Washington state is 'cause my buddy Mav works at Deluxe Tattoo in Vancouver. Probably the finest tattoo shop in the state. IMHO.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

You will be in my neck of the woods, the Hyatt you are staying at is close to where I work and live, there are a few of us locally, we meet every couple of months or so. I'll PM you my contact info, it would be great to meet you.

When Ron and me were at the Asheville, NC razor meet the hotel had a nice lobby to meet in and some have a bar?
