Well another meet and another advancement in my honing abilities. I have a little bit of time to practice until the Seattle meet. I am hoping to see some of the Alberta guys in Seattle!

So I just shaved off my first edge thanks to this meet up! It was not bad at all. I took out a small chip, set the bevel, and did my best with a 30x loupe to get it smooth. The shave went really well considering it's my first honed edge.
