Just walked in the door 15 minutes ago about a 4 1/2 hr drive.

Thanks David for sponsoring this! I had a very good time meeting you and all the other guys.
I really do envy that swimming pool you have and the sparkling clean home. That's a very nice place you have.
I was good to see Joamo, Knipper, Howard Clark & Ron again. It was very good to finally meet Mainaman and Entropy and his father plus the 2 new guys Guidy and his friend ( who is a real new guy! ) I think I am missing a name but I am to tired to remember.

    More tomorrow..........

Just got home from very abbreviated work. I'm glad Randy made it home safely. I too will add a bit more commentary tomorrow. I will say that I too have finally gotten to see a few more faces connected with names and I am grateful to have done so.

Thanks to all who organized the meet and to Guidry for hosting.

I had a great time, even though I had to leave early. It is amazing how much you can pick up and learn in a short few hours.

Looking forward to the next meet!

    Well small update.....
the new guy I invited (caylan) will be coming back tomorrow for his first shave/strop lessons....
I ordered a new strop and he will be getting my old one so that completes his starter kit.....
he was supper excited to meet everyone and very happy with the razor he ended up with...
Now I just need to make him watch a few videos and help him with his first shave and hopefully he enjoys it as much as I do....

Sorry I didn't make it. My friend needed a lot of help with his steam engine. A little overkill to use a steam engine to make ice cream.

Go ahead and let him practice with the newspaper strop I forgot at your house. I'll forgive him if he accidentally cuts it!
