I would like to get on the pm list on the chance that I might be able to get away for a couple of hours.

I am not experienced in organization of meet ups, probably PM all interested in the meetup with the address?
I hope Randy and Ron will chime in on this.

Well, Guidry can just compile a list of everyone who has expressed interest (I think I started one back a ways in the thread) and then send a PM to each person. I think the average forum minion (unlike Randy who has PM superpowers) can send PMs to 4 or 5 people at a time so it won't take long.

Alternatively, just for fun, everyone could find the address Where's Waldo style and do like I did.

I already found the address by searching for the pool on Google maps. I think it took about 30 seconds--Humboldt ain't that big!

Please let me know if anyone has any particular type of hone that they might like to see. I'm not going to bring a ridiculous number, but if someone is interested in bevel setters, or coticules, or whatever, just let me know.

I will be bringing my microscope, camera, and TV to allow magnified viewing on-screen.

Guidry, how are you set for tables and chairs? We will need a few sturdy ones for hardcore honing!

Seems obvious, but anyone who needs help with honing should bring along their dull razors, as there will be several honers in attendance.
