One of the problems that SRP has with the member list is that for those who fill in the location field they are allowed to enter anything they wish, i.e. Iowa, IA, or IA. or city. This creates the problem I found again when I tried to compile a list of SRP Iowa members. When I performed a search using IA as a location I received back 24 pages of listings, over 1000 names. Unfortunately Australia, Victoria etc contain "IA" ! What would solve this is a drop down box where a person could select their city, state & country and not be allowed to enter a "up north" location. For those who prefer anonymity they would be allowed to leave it blank.
Just an idea.

BTW, Gugi and others have done a great job of getting more and more people to fill in their profile.

This is a great suggestion Randy. Have you passed it on to the appropriate mods?

It also would be nice if the location ID (optional of course) would be an actual part of the registration process.

Hmmmm, I should have sent one to myself first. The layout does not look right. I am using a new version of an editor for the first time so it seems there are some line feeds where I did not expect them.

Oh well. I received it and the line feeds (whatever the h&ll they are) are fine. The message was clear regardless of the format.

Just an update.......

I just completed sending out emails to 26 of the guys on the above list. The others did not make that option available in their profile.

Time to start a headcount?
I'll be there. My wife and I made reservations in Fort Dodge for Saturday night. We'll probably stop by to visit the Cardiff Giant on Sunday, my last visit was a long time ago and my wife has never met him.

I will also be there......lol
