Wish you were here.
Saw a lot of steel beaten into submission.
All got to watch Bluesman demo his innovative approach to grinding.
Lynn honed several blades that will be tested this morning.
The grinding starts this morning.
Watching Howard, Mike, Bruno, Charlie and others forge was very exciting. Seeing the pros work really makes you appreciate the art of blacksmithing. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

My Apron after this meet
Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
To spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the Last Day

The only reason i got to where i got today was that a decade ago i looked at a damascus razor by Robert Williams and said to myself 'i can do this' and i started from scratch in terms of resources and skill.
Getting there is just a matter of putting one foot in front of the other and not quitting.
Anyone can do this starting from scratch if they just put in the hours.
