Thread: Greater Toronto Razor Meet 2016

I also had a great time. Thanks to Mike B for hosting, it was good seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones. I was in awe at the sheer amount of razors you guys have and the stunning condition they were all in, I felt out of place with my beaters... haha I had a great time looking at all the shiny steel and shooting the sh-t with the guys. Thanks to Colin and Andrew for paying it forward by giving my tiny collection of razors a little boost. I really appreciate it and now I can put some of my rocks to use. I would also like to give a thanks to Andrew (Phrank) who out of the blue gave me a coticule I inquired about after I asked him how much he wanted for it. Talk about Canadian kindness. All of the attendees showed it. I am very glad I attended. I left with some great memories and great gifts. I learned a lot just from listening .. lots of guys with far greater knowledge then I.

This is an unknown stone that TrilliumLT had and was working on flattening. A massive stone that I'm going to take to work and cut into 3 thinner stones with my diamond saw.

Not sure who's W&B this was, because there was a few dozen like this floating around, but this one was exceptionally pretty.

Also, Thank you to Mcbladescar for the axe head cover for my Norlund axe. Fits perfect Mike! Also, thank you to Solitarysoldier for the newly mind coticule to try out. I love trying new stones and can't wait to get a blade on this one.

That W&B is mine, and a very special razor it be....

Our dear friend pixelfixed passed that razor onto me about two years ago for a song and a thank-you, he was a true gentleman, and everytime I have a shave with it, I'm sure it mutters something like, "Bullsh&t!", or some other one of his famous cranky one-liners.....

I briefly heard that conversation, and should have come over and taken part. Very cool that you have that razor Andrew.
