I am busting my ass to get there. Looks promising.

Might have to sell a razor for gas to get home.

Say! I have a DC sealed motor with a control box and a gnarly foot pedal in great shape out of the local liberal rag when they went to outside printing. Runs on 110 0r 220, I think.
Nice, Heavy duty stuff. I could put it in the truck and you guys might tell me if it would be good for a grinder. OR, lots more gas money?

Spring company next door has a BUNCH of old iron machinery out for scrap.
Cool stuff. Wish I had some room. I think I shall gather some of it up.
Sort of stuff guys like us can use. Hell.....It's got a motor on it!

I have been leaning towards a single room at the Twilight.

But if a double is what it takes to get you there...

My wife says I snore, Tim. I have to wear earplugs to get to sleep for HER snoring.
I have a jar of earplugs.

That would be swell, Tim. Just a place to snore.

Earplugs, Bruv. I have a buddy who you think has died finally and he blows you out of bed.
THAT is sleep apnea. I just snore....Apparantly!

When you say you like this loft, we shall measure it, yank it out, put a humongous dollop of goop on the end of the plug and shove it in right where you like it.
Hang it up bristles-down for a day or 2. Easy! Yeah
    I will bring some Goop!
That's why I ordered the knot, to experiment with loft. I've never set a knot before. Seems like it should be easy, but it never hurts to listen to experience. Didn't know about the hang it upside down part for example.

I do that using the Goop. It stays forgiving longer and is simpler to do.
Lots use epoxy. Things happen pretty fast with that.
Little adjustments are not possible as recently-assembled.

With the Goop, you can have a few beers and adjust.
Hanging it upside down ensures full contact with the plug and down around the sides.
Goop is too thick to run out and make a mess.
Downside is a few days to harden.

I screwed up my loft in the first brush then in the second made it perfect for my preference then gave it to my father in law. I hope he likes what I like. I should of done some experimenting. If there’s a next time I’ll make sure to temporarily set the plug and use different heights.

Tom, you should come so you can set us straight. Not sure what part of Texas you’re in but I’m flying into Dallas (Lovefield), I could come grab you if you’re not too far away. Gas is on me.

Years ago my mother was bitching my father out saying that she was tired of his snoring. Dad replied telling mom that she also snored. Mom said he was making it up.

Sooooo Dad got out the little cassette recorder and went in while mom slept and snored and recorded it. At the same time he's quietly calling her name, saying what day and time it was.

In the morning he played it back to her.

I believe that's when they started sleeping in separate rooms.:
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
