Thanked: 995We should thank you Charlie for opening your shop. I know what hosting an event entails. I appreciate what you had to go through having the bunch of us there. Although your likening it to Tom Sawyer's whitewash story didn't surprise me. That explains why your shop is only clean once a year.

Big Thank You to Charlie!!
The meets at Charlie's, and the people are the absolute best.
The food and drink are second to none.
Everything was pretty much sheer perfection.
The best of times indeed!

I had 6 hours to kill before my flight, Texas is quite the place, I was just looking in the window of a jewelry place in Bowie looking for something for my wife. The place was closed and clearly labeled as such but the owner and her daughter were in there working on taxes and inventory and let me in anyways. We ended up talking for an hour about family and making things. It wasn’t an isolated incident, everywhere I went that sort of situation was common place. I drove into work this morning and got cut off 5 times in 10 minutes, in Texas I drove 500 miles and only got cut off once and even then the guy knew he made a mistake and gave a wave of apology.
Thanks Charlie for opening your shop to us. We all had a great time.

Thanked: 2209I will be posting more pics in a day or two.
First, I have to rest up, find my big cat ( he is missing), then sort thru work that has been done while I have been gone and sort thru what has been put where.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

TC recently made a few remarks about me. I hung out on top of Tim's grinder for a short while hoping that if TC started the grinder that the 36 grit belt would give me enough traction to kick him in the nose. Then I realized that TC isn't that bad of a guy and would I have enough time to jump off if someone else wanted to use the grinder.........

Thanked: 995Maybe it was TC leading the debate over musical talent. I overheard a name and thought I'd put a rhythm to it to help.
