I'm finally back at the Boars Nest.
First and Foremost--A HUGE THANK YOU to Charlie for holding the meet!
I didn't get many pictures taken and I messed up all but one of TC hard at work getting the food going, I'll try to do better next time.
Here's a few of the pics that did come out decent:
With the help of those much more knowledgeable and very helpful members in attendance, I managed to fumble my way to at least making a Razor Shaped Object---Only time will tell--
Right out of the Salt Bath;
After a bit of work last night;
And while there are other pictures of it, I would like to point out that there was a Family Reunion at the meet.
Two long lost brothers met for the very first time----They both seemed very happy that it happened.
I really enjoyed the entire time at the meet, I honestly wouldn't take back a single second of the time.
Truly A Wonderful Time!

2020 Texas Meet Mustards
Some had asked how I made the mustards that I brought to the meet.
I've finally got around to posting the recipes here:

Ok here it is(pics are from my phone so not like you pros) etched and buffed. Alabama Damascus(from my good friend Scott). Guys in hand it’s a beautiful piece of steel. Stabilized burl( looks like maple, from Scott also). 2 piece aluminum and copper pins. Just now put a smoking 1500k edge on it followed by stropping on my leaded strop. Arm hair shaving and cut a tomatoe so thin it evaporated after laying on the board!
Many thanks to all who helped. I have now gotten to where I’m ready for my own forge and bladesmithing (for myself only). Great accomplishment that I’m proud of and my wife loves this knife, only problem is she wants some more

Thanked: 4206Nice blade shape tc, really like the bimetal pins in the handle too!
Black blades just look sleek to me..
Tiniest glint of a bevel too.
I’d be proud to make such a tool too buddy!
Good job.
Need to show my wife these pics to further emphasize the value of making the trip next year..
