Thanked: 44I am trying to figure out how to go but it is 17 hours from here and so I will have to play it by ear. In any case I will have to be frugal like mad. But if I do come I will bring some of the nicer things I would like to sell to help pay for gas.

Baloosh,
Where do you live and do you want to do it in a day, split driving, hit a campground, split a hotel room, what? I have no problem with taking my camper. I will look for campgrounds close by. If we can stay on site that would be real cool. The books say it sleeps 8 but it's really only 4. I just refuse to have more than 2 drinks and drive anywhere. Let's go! Mama gave me a kitchen pass.

I'll be there! I'll only be able to join my fellow shvers on Saturday. For some of our out of twon friends, if you are spending more than a day and like BBQ, try Laggerheads which is not far away: http://www.lagerheads.us/ . . . and if you like microbrew pubs, try America's best one - the Brew Kettle -- also with an excellent smoker:
http://www.thebrewkettle.com/forum/f...sts.asp?TID=79 . . . the Brew Kettle is about a 10 minute ride north on I-71 at Route 42. RalphS

I'm North of Dayton as well (Huber) so I'm cool with going up on Friday and coming back Saturday, or driving up that Saturday, or staying until Sunday, etc. I guess I'm saying I'm pretty much flexible for whatever you guys want to do.
If the hotel room are only $40 a night or so, I'll probably spring for my own room, but anyone is welcome to crash in my room if they need to. Those BBQ places Ralph mentions sound awesome -- I loves me some good BBQ!!
Using your camper is a good idea if we get a few guys who don't want to get rooms.
