Well Gents,
The day is almost here! One last note, Texspresso has free wireless and I will have my laptop there so we can be nerds and have the SRP pulled up and maybe even post a live update. Feel free to bring your computer if you wish.
See ya'll there,

Looking forward to seeing everyone... just in case it's a few minutes till you need to leave and you are (as I often am) just realizing that you are wondering where exactly it is you're about to be going, here are directions:
From the North:
(on 35): head South until you hit 183 (St. John's) exit and turn right (West). Go ahead and enter the freeway. Exit Burnet Road and turn left (South) on Burnet. Go down to Anderson Lane and turn Right. Take Anderson for a few blocks. You will pass an Office Depot and a Fudruckers on the right. The next thing on the right will be a shopping complex with a CVS. Turn in here (there is a stop light) and drive toward the Alamo Drafthouse. Texspresso will be on the right.
(on Mopac): From Mopac Southbound exit for Anderson Lane/Spicewood Springs. Turn Left at the Anderson/Spicewood light. You will go past a stop light for Shoal Creek and one for Rockwood and see the shopping center on the left. Go just past the CVS and turn left at the light. Drive toward the Alamo Drafthouse. Texspresso will be on the right.
From the South:
(On 35): Travel North through the city center and travel all the way up to 183 (Research Blvd). Exit 183 North and travel up 183 to Burnet Road.
(On Mopac) Travel North and exit for Anderson Lane. Turn Right on Anderson Lane. You will go past a stop light for Shoal Creek and one for Rockwood and see the shopping center on the left. Go just past the CVS and turn left at the light. Drive toward the Alamo Drafthouse. Texspresso will be on the right.

Well, son of a...
I am new to straights. I just finished work, and thought I'd jump on SRP to see if there is anyone in Austin who hones razors, and might even show me a thing or two. Then I just fin out at 3 today that you're meeting from 1-3. What poor timing on my part!
Well, anyone interested in honing a couple for me, and maybe a lesson? I'll gladly pay a going rate, of course.
Sure upset I just missed today's gathering.
Best,
Damon, in south Austin

Well, luckily folks hung around awhile and I was fortunate to meet some great, helpful people.
Thanks for the welcome, gentlemen, and the terrific encouragement to this new straight shaver.
