The only way this will be affordable for me is if I fly into Charlotte after normal business hours (So I wont be able to rent a car) and then someone pick me up and drop me off at the airport. Nearest I can tell is that it is about a 75 mile drive each way.
Anyone?

only two hours, are you serious? I'll pick you up, sheesh! And I'll take you back to if necessary - however let me double check with Bill as he is riding with me...
Although I guess it may depend on when I get into town myself...Last edited by hoglahoo; 04-26-2009 at 10:04 PM.

The Charlotte to Asheville run can be made in an hour and a half. It also allows the roadtripees access to the real deal NC BBQ. Cross through Shelby NC and stop at Bridges BBQ. It's not a bad drive really. You'll want to get a later flight out on sunday if you can.
