What about one meeting in the early part of the year and one in the fall.
One in OKC, and the other in the NE?
I will set up the one down here and someone else can take the NE one.
The early part of the year is better, timewise for me so I would prefer OKC sometime in the next month or so.

how does that sound to ya'll?

Earlier this year in OKC works better for me too since it's sooner. (Pun fully intented). I'm not opposed to a meet and greet in a restaurant per se, but what I would really like to see is some show and tell. If we have a honemeister in the area a little demo would be beneficial to all I would think. I guess I just had a more hands on type meeting in mind. That probably wouldn't be too okay in a restaurant.

The bass pro has a large private dining area within the restaurant that would be nice. not sure if there are costs though. we could possibly just meet at my place though. Or maybe another fellow's...

I'd try to make a meet, from SE OK. I say "try" as I would have to get a day off, my normal days off are tuesday & wednesday.
Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

There's a good thought. If someone has a place we could meet (like hoglahoo's *grin) and do some hands on stuff for most of the day, then head over to somewhere like Bass Pro for dinner and more visiting. I'd be willing to load up some guys in my van and carpool up for the day.
