[QUOTE=Mvcrash;675167]
I have about 20 that need honing right now.....
/QUOTE]
Damn, I think I do too
If anyone lets me use their hones, I can probably figure it out myself. RAD has kept me from buying my own set of Naniwas for far too long.
My next purchase, though, will be a set of hones! I promise! Unless a nice Wonderedge pops up...oh and there's Dylan's razor...

Thanked: 4Hi all, count me in. I'll get a couple of my razors as well, would appreciate help from the honing experts! I'll try to get in earlier, hate getting stuck in GWB traffic once it starts piling up around noon.

I'm getting psyched now that it is getting closer and I have a ride so I can bring more stuff than I could have if I were biking there.
I have questions from stopping to honing to restoration questions.
I also want some feedback on the CF I got a few months ago.
Anyway, it is going to be cool and I look forward to meeting you guys!
Maybe one more entry with a good map and instructions form both car and train if that is cool. Again, looking foward

OK, here are the directions. The place actually has no official address. It is the Fort Lee Police Department Pistol Range House. I have provided a map for your use. For GPS, you can use 1500 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee NJ. You can also use the intersection of Palisade Avenue and Palisade Terrace. Be aware that the intersection has three street names on the Road posts:
Palisades Avenue runs North and south and is a 4 lane road. Palisades Terrace runs east off of Palisades Avenue and Riverdale Drive runs west. Sounds confusing but it is not and when you see it, you'll understand.
The range house is behind (east) of the building at 1500 Palisades Terrace at the bottom of the hill. If coming from the south, you need to make a RIGHT TURN onto Palisades Terrace. If coming from the North you need to make a LEFT TURN onto Palisades Terrace.
Once on Palisades Terrace continue east about 100 feet and you'll see a parking lot in front of you. Turn to your left to avoid the lot then immediately turn to your right. Continue down the hill you'll fist see the Entrance to the range and then the range house. ( this is sort of a little "S" curve to get to the range.)
Basically, the range house is behind 1500 Palisade Avenue at the bottom of the hill.
Also, big tip here. If you get lost ask any FL cop for directions to THEIR pistol range.
I will be there at about 9-930 ish.
Subway. Use the A train express to the 178 Street, George Washington Bridge Terminal. Walk upstairs to the Bus station. Take ANY bus over the Bridge and get off at the FIRST STOP. Walk up the steps to Lemoine Avenue and walk south (facing the Bridge, south is to your right). Lemoine becomes Palisade Avenue. About 3/4 mile on your left you'll see 1500 Palisade. Walk left, down the hill to the range. If you like, PM Me, and I'll give you my cell. I can pick you up at the Bridge
