Well it's a little too far for me to swim, so since my export permits arrived today, I'll just settle for sending you a 'Roo strop in my place. I hope all who attend have a great time. I wish I could be there too.
I hope it turns into a successful event Stu.

I'm in, and will bring hones and blades. I've got few x-hones to identify and a Charnley to compare.

As written before by me. I will bring few CFs that people can try and perhaps few other hones to play with and give them more objective testing. Could be nice to see more UK originating hones. Hopefully those wh have them will not hesitate to bring them. Could we put list of people who plan to attend together and where they are from that perhaps we can than talk to each and organise transport or accommondation.

Looks like I was in London way too early!

Just got back from London Monday night and I was even in the dr Harris location on st James street too. I must admit when I stepped in it was like I had died an gone to shaving heaven lol.

Good one Stu! It sounds like an excellent venue.

The only other UK hone I have is a White Tam, and of course I'm bringing her along. I also have an unknown green 6-8K slate type bonded to a paddle which I suspect is of UK origin. Don't know if its worth bringing along.

Mick, that's most kind not to mention generous of you. I very much look forward to trying your Roo strop! Shame you can't make it, but I don't blame you - it's an awfully long journey! Unless you were planning a few weeks of vacation in the UK I wouldn't even consider it.

Great location! That certainly beats a draughty village hall. Nicely done Stu. They should make a killing once the shaving fever kicks in! Harris creams galore!

Does anyone who is attending the Razorcon have full set of hones of known grit (i.e. Naniwa, Norton, Shapton ...) and does not mind to bring it and use it?
Does anyone can bring either a decent microscope or a good camera with tripod?
I am sure there will be a lot of unknown stones to be IDed and theese could help with atleast setting comparable grit from scratch marks.
