London 2010 Razorcon - Its ON!!!
Hey folks,
Well, after a couple of false starts the London 2010 Razorcon is on..! Woot!
I'm very happy to announce that the event will be held on Saturday November the 6th, starting at 4pm, at none other than D.R. Harris's Mayfair headquarters. I'm absolutely stoked to be holding the event at such an awesome location and Alison, the MD of D.R. Harris, has very kindly agreed to hold the store open late for us.
This really is a great opportunity for us all to get together at one of the oldest perfumers in London and have a great time. Plus theres a fair few pubs and bars in the area to retire to afterwards!
This thread is for people to sign up and register their attendance, so if you live near London mark it in your diary! If you're in the area on holiday, please feel free to come along and if you're not in the area start booking those plane tickets lol..!
The other thing I'd like to do is get a few demo's going, so if you have something you'd like to show us please let us know! I'm planning to do a honing demonstration, but if anyone wants to demo repinning, basic razor maintenance, stropping, lathering or anything else please let me know.
Also, if you have any razors, hones or other kit you want to show off please bring it along! I'm going to be bringing some hones and razors along but the more we have there the better it will be!
I saw in an earlier thread that a few guys were talking about Charnley Forests that they could bring? It would be really cool to have a CF shoot out or something, so those guys please bring your rocks!
I'm going to donate a shave ready razor as a giveaway and you'll automatically be entered into that one just for turning up, no strings or anything attached! Thats right, you could win a razor just for hanging out with a few mates and then going for a beer! Hehe!
D.R. Harris make a great range of products and we'll be able to make purchases on the day and stock up on soaps, creams and colognes as well.
I'm looking forward to meeting you all there!

Damn i took my vacation one month too early. I have two weeks off work in October.
This is ironic. My lady and i were planning to make some 3-4 day stay either in London, Edinburgh, Budapest or Gdansk (those are the options if you want to fly directly from my town). My wife chose Gdansk.
Well Gdansk is a beautiful town as well and we've been in London before, but damn. Maybe next year.
I'm with the spirit'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

Let me know when you've all chipped in enough to buy me a plane ticket so I can book my flight ASAP!
