I'd love to have a stropping demo. Ive been trying to get used to an hanging strop after years of paddling with very little luck.

I've been to DR Harris, and I don't recall them having a room or table for us to use. Where are they going to put us. Also, I plan on buying some Harris goods while I'm there. It's really the polite thing to do.

I have both kinds of strop and will volunteer to demo as long as others do too - my stropping I am sure is not perfect and I'd be interested to see others strop as I've never seen it done live.

I'm also gona buy at least one DR H product!

I will bring my newly asquired hand made strop and possibly my home made paddle to play with. I am not sure if I will have my hanning strop made for me in that time.

Can you hold off until I win the lottery so I can afford plane fair? (And maybe a collection of razors worth showing off)?

Yep, D.R. Harris on St James St. Mayfair!

I went to the store on the weekend and spoke with Alison, the MD., about what we could do on the day.

We might have a DOVO representative along (assuming he is free to attend) and there will be a few discounts too...! We might also be getting a few drinks in as well!

Also, if there is anything you are after (paste or a particular brush or something) let us know here and Alison has said they will try to source whatever it is for the day!

In terms of space, we have the whole counter top that runs all the way along the store, plus there is a counter at the far end we can use. Theres also a couple of tables as well, so we should be good for space!

This is shaping up to be a really awesome event guys! Dont miss out!

Any recommendations for hotels etc to stay at on the Saturday night ?

As London is London, any suggestions to keep the cost down would be welcome

    Many thanks.

    Have fun !
