Thanked: 3795Lynn I'll be checking in with you soon, maybe tonight. In the mean time, I'm wondering what to bring. You've got hones, I don't need to bring them. You've got razors, duh. I usually bring a microscope to these things, but you've got one too. You've got booze, okay, I'll bring booze!

Thanked: 2209Hey guys, If anyone is looking for a hotel room I have room for one guy at the Drury Lodge.
I am looking to split the cost. It is a double occupancy/ smoking room at $90/nite.
If your interested let me know via PM or email or in this thread.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

Arriving Friday
I'll be arriving around 5-6 pm Friday also.
Hopefully I'll be bringing a friend with me. He doesn't have any gear yet, but has shaved twice with some of mine, and he's definitely "hooked". I'm trying to convince him that his weekend will be much better spent in Missouri than going to a classmate's wedding. After all, will she be giving away cool shaving goods, doing honing/restoration demos, and shooting firearms at her wedding? I think not! ...wait, on second thought, we are in Alabama. There could be firearms at the wedding

Thanked: 3795Glad you made it Randy. Since I won't have time to stop anywhere along the way, I hope you managed to clear out every antique store along the route. I'll be working late tonight and early tomorrow and hope to be on the road by noon. Hah! If I get away by 6 I'll be surprised! It will be a 10 hour drive for me so I'll get there when I get there. I think I'll just be bringing Grey Goose and beer since Lynn has everything else. For us long distance travelers it's impractical to bring food along so I intend to just make a grocery store run for whatever seems to be needed. We'll have to keep Lynn's Big Green Egg (world's best grill) well fed!
