Thanks to Don for sending down the many different great gifts
to Charlie (spazola) and Bob Allman who each gave away items including custom razors and provided their expertise and practical help and ideas for everyone who had questions and everyone listening
to Mike Blue who demonstrated and explained how to look for carbon content in a razor using Charlie's forge, David (Alembic) for gifting one of his fantastic razor cases
to Greg (LinacMan) for providing these photos
and of course to Lynn who is the most hospitable man you may ever meet for opening up his home and *all* the goodies within for our use. And Lynn has gobs of goodies. I picked out all the stuff I've always wanted to try but knew I never would and had a great shave with a Thater brush, Caraceni cream, spazola custom razor, and a premium SRD strop. Can't beat - well, maybe I'll beat it next year
Nobody that I could tell walked away without getting every bit of help they came for and more. If you have a chance to attend a meet, especially at Lynn's, don't pass it up. From expert to rank noob everyone was involved and learning honing, stropping, grinding, buffing, shaving, etc. There were about 25+ folks who were able to come, thanks again to everyone who participated for the great experienceLast edited by hoglahoo; 06-06-2011 at 02:37 AM.

Thanked: 995I crashed the party. I highly recommend anyone attending these kind of get togethers both near and far. I learned a bunch this weekend. It was good to put faces to names.

I had a great time at Lynns, met some new people. A big thanks to everyone who showed up, and taught me how to use those funny stones that I have seen people rub their razors on. Thanks to everyone who donated stuff for the raffle, and of course thanks to Lynn for hosting
