Dates are off for me, I´ll be in London from late July (29th) and a couple of weeks. Not possible earlier, I´m afraid Whatever´s decided it´ll be a blast anyway

    It is in London!

16/17th are good for me, no later as I go away for 3 weeks on the 20th.

Thanks for setting this up Stu

I guess it depends on your definition, but a bit far out for me.

Heh, you could always get a lift in my taxi.
I'll be passing thru central London on my way from Heathrow as soon as my plane comes in to the airport from Norway...

    Cool cool!

So I'll get in touch with the venue and book the room for the 16th of July from, say 2pm, and let them know we want it until close. I reckon we should also do a lunch on the Sunday as well, not necessarily at the same place, but I think that would be a fun thing to do before everyone heads off.

    What do you reckon?

Also, would anyone be prepared to do some demo's? I'm happy to do a honing demo and maybe hand sanding if I have a blade that needs doing, but could someone do a shave demo? Maybe a natural stone honing demo (Mark, I'm thinking of you here )?

I've got some blades I'm cleaning up and I can leave one to do a pinning demo? I know there are some guys attending who are into their honing (Bjornar, Mark, Maurice, Stepan...) so it would be great it you guys could do some one on one honing tuition for those who want to learn?

Could people also bring some kit? Hones, blades, strops and so on..! Anything fun we can play with!

I'll get back and post once I have the dates firmed up.

    I'm looking forwards to this!

    Thanks Stu!
    That sounds great!!

I can definitely bring some gear. Both for use and a little to look at as well

I'm thinking maybe a JNat or two(Oozuku and Shoubudani), with a full set of Naguras, a Y/G Escher. Maybe even the Naniwa Chosera stones.
Perhaps the Norton Barber hone too?
Let's see what the other guys are planning on bringing to this.
I don't mind carrying them, but if someone a bit closer than me have basically the same gear, then perhaps that is a better Idea?

I guess I'll bring a few customs razors (a few new you guys haven't seen yet) and maybe a razor or two for the raffles as well.
I'll bring the Kanayama #90000 tri-strop as well.

Scipio and Mark: I'll order up on the Fitjar as well

I really look forward to seeing you all there.

I'm in and will handle a natural stone table. I'd love it of the non-honers among us would bring razors. We could all sharpen them right up.

    Is there a hotel nearby?
