Thread: Chicago Wet Shavers Get Together

With you on that one Ron, not a lot is gonna get me to Chicago. But I think this'll do it. Possible attendee here as well.

We have a date-October 13th!

Since this is to occur on a Thursday evening, which is quite inconvenient for anyone not living close by, is there any chance of it spilling over in a less commercial manner to another location on Friday? The Thursday stuff sounds good, but it clearly seems geared to selling. Continuing on Friday (of course Saturday would be better except for Friday being between Thursday and Saturday) would allow for more interactions revolving around honing, restorations, and BSing.

I agree with ron that a weekend would be much more suitable, if we can get it. The turnout would no doubt be much higher.

I work in the loop and would gladly stop by. I go to Merz for soaps all the time.

I'm a little unclear though: Is this the same one that mantic has announced on his blogsite for November 10th at the Palmer House?

I would assume not. This one seems to be located at Merz to showcase all the wet-shaving items.

No, I live near Houston. But I have family in WI so I'm taking a multi-purpose vacation.
