Thread: Chicago Wet Shavers Get Together

I was talking to dslazar9 a few weeks ago and he told me about this event. I've been wet shaving for several years now and I'm really looking forward to this.

So I just went to sign up for the VIP hour and it told me it was sold out. Any credence to that? What's a longtime forum member gotta do to get on "The List"?

What are the freaking chances that I would have something more important schedule right on top of the chicago get together? This blows.

I am working on this. I just sent a message off the promoter, and will reply to this once I have an answer.

I spoke with Anthony Qaiyum, one of the owners of Merz Apothecary and the sponsor of this event and they are indeed sold out. This was is the email that was sent today to those who signed up in advance.

I just watched that video and am stoked! Didn't realize it was gonna be such a big deal!

Yeah, this is rather huge. I've been a customer of Merz for years; their Lincoln Village store is absolutely amazing.

This is a lobby view of The Palmer House. Just up the escalator and to the left is the mezzanine area where The Great Shave will be held;



Anthony tells me they're not only celebrating Merz' one year anniversary at the hotel, but they're honoring their loyal customers at both locations. I will be taking photographs at the event and hope to upload to the forum as well.
