I'm in Durham, but rarely get to Charlotte. When I first joined a couple of years ago, there was a semi-regular meet-up in Asheville, usually around June, I think. Our fellow member Doc organized it. I wasn't able to go, but I think it was pretty well attended.

Hey guys,
I'm just reading through all the meetup threads, as it's something I believe in very strongly. For our upcoming Denver one, the Mods donned their capes and leotards and were able to send a mass PM to members in Colorado and surrounding states. You might try that out there; contact a Mod and see if they can scare up a bigger crowd.
