Man, if you can get a cigar shop meet going, DO IT! Small meets and get-togethers is what it is all about. Smaller groups can converge upon Houston! (about March !)
Do it here so we can see what is going on. Those fellas in Philly seemed to enjoy that cigar shop locale!
Send guys to the Texas thread to talk and organize it. The more, the merrier!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Give me a date and I will talk to the cigar shop owner. If we meet there it would be polite to purchase some cigars. I would like to have the meeting pretty soon. I'm in need of some honing help.

Does Jan 11 at Houston cigar shop located next to the Palm restaurant on Westheimer work for everyone? It is called Stogies and I will get the address if the date sounds ok. BTW, the Palm will let you buy drinks and take them to the cigar shop. What's a cigar without a little whiskey?

Works for me. I do enjoy a good cigar along with a single malt Scotch.

Stogies it is then.

The strip mall it is in is on the north side of Westheimer and the easiest way to spot it is the sign for The Palm restaurant. Stogies is next door. I hope we get at least a few people.

Guys, Just how much room do they have for us? 10-20 people with razors hones and knives takes up quite a bit of room. Not to put a damper on this but I'm about the razors, food, friendship, knives, guns, hones etc. I find it hard to believe that we can set up table's for honing and not take up too much room in the store. Oh and no guns in the store?????

You are right. There isn't room for 10-20 guys and unfortunately there would be no firearms. I just suggested the cigar shop in order to get things off the ground and firm up a meeting. I am open to other suggestions. I would offer my house but am afraid my humble townhouse wouldn't provide much more space. I haven't seen 10-20 responses indicating interest but if you think there will be that many people, we should find somewhere else.
