Re: Toronto area open workshop.
Rider, you are most welcome to attend. These meets benefit new guys the most.
Well, I got a full tank of propane, looks like theres going to be about 12 of us firestart..... are we going to need buns or anything else?
I am stocked up on pop and water.
Can anyone think of anything else we will need?
Nate maybe you could bring your pinning hammer just incase one isnt enough?
Also, do we want structure to this meet up? I imagine there will be a few guys on the anvils through the day. I have lots of pinning supplies and CA glue for finishes if anyone makes or has made scales (maybe bring some wood or other for your scales please). There will be 2 sanders a band saw and scroll saw setup.
I plan on having a near finished razor to final grind and assemble as a demonstration, maybe Ill pound out a kamisori.
Id love to have Nate do a pinning demo as he is pretty much the scale master lol.
Please give more suggestions if you have them, I will do my best to accomidate.
Eric.

Lol I should have read this thread before messaging both Eric (to get the numbers) and M (to confirm his identity lol). My razor porn has been here long before I posted it up on GTAM Ok, 12 should be easy, but buns will be a good idea. By the way, if anybody in the group is Jewish or Muslim, either post here or shoot me a PM so I'll know if I should prep some pork-free alternatives. Also, if you got religious issues with beef or chicken, let me know too

Thanked: 993Eric,
Yep, I'll do a pinning demo for sure. I'll bring up my hones and toolbox, and we'll go from there.
