My thoughts and prayers for Neil's family. The world has lost another good one. I am so thankful I bought a strop from him when I could. I will cherish it always.

Thanked: 1081Im so sorry to hear this terrible news. Neil was an exceptional man whom gave his extensive knowledge freely with wit, humour and sometimes with waspish tounge! We have lost a valuable addition to our community and it saddens me deeply that I will never hear from him again.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
God bless you Neil.

This is very sad news. Neil was a veritable treasure trove of historical information, and one of the pillars of this community.

He seemed to be a nice guy, and he was indeed a very fine artisan.

So very very sad.
One of the greatest resources the Straight Razor community has been privileged to have had and he made the greatest strops on earth.
I am absolutely gutted.
