Being away from the forum for awhile, I didn't know him too well. He seemed like a great guy and from what I've read here today, I know he will be greatly missed, both by his family and friends, and this community as well.

Yes, anytime a forum member leaves this world it's just a loss for us all.
My condolences to all who knew him.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Rest in peace. I've known him for quite a bit. Communicated with him and if memory serves right exchanged some vintage razors or something like that. Always known him as a friendly and helpful person. Stand up guy.
I will miss him.

Sounds stupid to say, but at least he got to go to the Texas Meet a short time before passing. He really got jazzed about razor making and was grinder shopping. Better to be jazzed about something in your last few months than sitting around waiting to die.
