This is a very sad news indeed :(
My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Talked to him a few times over the years, seemed like a great guy..

Rest easy Bart

Last we talked he had surgery on both eyes and was excited about having 20/20 vision again. He made it a point to get a new driver's license without the "corrective lenses" requirement.

RIP, Bart. Indeed, it's comforting to know that Bart made the TX meet-up not too many months ahead of his passing.

Bart was genuine and easy going, the kind of person I would like to drink a beer with. My condolences to his family and friends.

He was really glued to that grinder at the latest Texas Meet ! :)

So sorry to hear about Bart. Nevah met him,but he bought a few razors off me. Prayers sent to his family.

Sounds stupid to say, but at least he got to go to the Texas Meet a short time before passing. He really got jazzed about razor making and was grinder shopping. Better to be jazzed about something in your last few months than sitting around waiting to die.

^^^This all day every day. Though we only talked a few times over the years in passing, he will be missed. You have to respect a guy who was hardcore all the way to the end.
