Bob was a great person. I always like communicating with him. He was a great guy and friend.

Very sad news, a true gentleman who will be sadly missed.

Gentlemen,
I am profoundly saddened at the passing of my friend, and fellow Vietnam veteran, Bob.
Indeed, Bob was generous and helpful. He was such an asset to this forum.
Most of all, he was a fine man with a warm and caring heart — a rare human being that stood proudly as a beacon of goodness.
I will miss you, old friend, and miss our reminiscences about Vietnam. God bless you. Enjoy your shave den in heaven.

I’ve missed Bob since the day he departed the forum. After seeing these pictures from Gugi, my suspicions that we was a superb human were easily confirmed.
And, all of you Vietnam vets have my sincere gratitude for every thing that you endured for our country’s freedom.--Mark

Very sad news. I didn’t know Bob for long and only through this forum, but I really liked him. He was a very generous and kind hearted man that I really enjoyed talking with. RIP Bob!!

Thanked: 13245Bob was one of the good ones and will be missed, I really got to know him several years back when he was actually thinking of moving up this way.
He would call and ask about the area and asked for info about Heart oriented medical facilities, talk would turn to razors and just life in general.
He was just a pleasure to know and talk to, he was a great listener and seemed genuinely happy to listen to me blab incessantly about SR work :)
We all lost a friend here

Gentlemen-I've gotten a little misty just reading all your posts. I didn't know Bob personally, but appreciated his contributions to the forum and knew what a solid guy he was. Another one we will miss.
