Thanked: 603I share the sentiments others have posted. ברוך דיין האמת
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

I was fortunate enough to have met Richard on a couple of occasions at razor meets.
He was kind, giving and not afraid to let you know where he stood on things.
This is a very tough loss for all of us that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Rest in eternal peace my old friend.

Thanked: 556I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I always had a smile when I saw a post from him. It sounds as if he touched many folks on this forum and that his life was well lived.

Richard was a true gentleman. Always helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Richard was the mentor I looked up to the most when I first started out.

I never met him either but feel like i knew him from SRP and Wet Shavers Workshop. I won a nice 7/8s razor that he had donated to the giveaway. He PM'd me about it wondering how i liked it. I assured him it would stay in my collection. I think of him when i use it. RIP Richard.

Rip Geezer .
Your quip of the day posts always made me laugh. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Very sad news.
A longtime member who contributed much to the site.
He will be missed.
