Thanked: 315I was disappointed to learn he was no longer posting, when I returned to the forum. He was always a gentleman and quick to help others when he could.

So sad to hear about this. I've had a few personal messages with him, also on the Artisan shaving forum when it was live.
A gentleman, always ready to help with advice and his experience. I was proud when he vouched for my edges in the BST section. Made me feel i had achieved a next level. Rest in peace Geezer. You will be missed.

Richard was the first to welcome me to the forum. I PM'd him often with my questions when starting out and he always responded, happily sharing his time and wisdom. I always looked for his posts, espcially his quips of the day. What a kind, generous man who I'll dearly miss.
