Well, today I stropped my 13/16 Wade and Butcher near wedge and took to my lathered-up head with it. First time I've shaved my head with anything aside from electric clippers.
It took me a while (especially the back and neck), but I managed not to nick myself and missed only a few small spots on reviewing my handy work. I kept it to a single pass with touch-ups with a bit of irritation afterwards on the back of my neck where I had to re-do a few patches and probably used too much pressure (I was going blind, by feel, having neither the patience nor bathroom space to set up any double-mirror shenanigans).

I don't think I'll make it an every day affair, but I can definitely see myself SR shaving my head on a weekly basis.

I chose my W+B wedge as it's by far my most forgiving razor. It's smooth and keen when coming off my coticule, but it rarely bites me and doesn't leave me raw and sore. It could become my head razor, me thinks.
