Thanked: 375So I finally had the chance tonight to give the Zulu a whirl. I took two Hess 44's and did 100 laps on the Zulu sans slurry, and 100 laps on the Coti, sans slurry. I had 1 day of stubble and decided I'd do one side with the coti edge and well I ended up needing to use crox and much better as usual.
On to the other side with the Zulu, better then the coti but still needed to use the crox. I'm sure with a little fiddling and some more reading here this edge would probably work all by itself.
I did take my DMT to the Zulu and Micheal did a great job lapping. Drew some grids, 5-10 swipes with the DMT and all the lines were gone - it wasn't even needed.CHRIS

I finished my Swedish 4/8 (yeah you read it right) with 30 slurried laps on the ZG tonight. I don't know how much it help the 8k edge (as I didn't test it there), but damned if it isn't a great edge now. No pastes and i can't keep my fingers offa my face!

Who is a good supplier of these stones? Might have missed it but I would love to give one a whirl, all I have ever used is natural stones.

Very nice pictures you have posted I see that it's about time that I got my Zulu a box, just wondering where I could find something suitable...
I see that the stones you have showed here are much darker than mine. Except for maybe RoyalCake's.
Here is a picture of mine:

They are darker because they are wet,,,when dry, my Zulu looks just like yours.
