Checked on the price of shipping! It would add 75% to the cost. (;-(

Put old cigar boxes to use. I'm glad I kept them around b/c they work well for storing hones and nagura/slurry stones. Pad them up with some felt or even bubble wrap.

Time to put some lemon. It's lime time.

after use I dry with paper towels and put them back in the boxes they came in. I use naniwa ss stones 1K-3/8K 12K. so far they seem ok but it's only been 3 months since I got them. I wonder about long term storage. you know once you have all your razors honed you really don't use them that often.

Since it just me and the cats, I keep mine naniwa's in the original boxes in the cabinet under the kitchen sink along with optics and tape. I hone there so it is very easy for access. The cats don't complain much as long as they get fed on time...
The easy road is rarely rewarding.
