That's a really nicely sized slab!

I picked up my soft, hard, and black for a little over $100USD. Had I known the love affair I would form with them, especially my black, I would have gotten bigger stones. I still might, but the 6x2's I got were super easy to condition.

I just got an email back from them. I think I am going to go ahead and get the medium sized one for now. She said they were trying to get a few more of the larger and that they will be getting a large translucent as well as possibly a few blacks. I think I will go with the translucent when they get it, never had a tranny before....wow that nickname sounds wrong.

Well, I just ordered mine too. I ended up having an emergency in the family so I can't afford a J-nat now but I convinced my wife that the primitive was a great value and way cheaper than a nice Jnat. Cant wait. Now I think I am going to build a box for it and try glass bedding it. Ive never glass bedded anything but I guess its time to learn. Then maybe I can get around to finally bedding one of my rifles.

I asked for the larger one. They said it was a medium. The more square one they said was a small. The larger one they told me was 6-ish by 3-3.25 and mostly 1 inch thick.

The smaller they said was about 4x3x3/4's

Got the black from Dans today. It's a substantial piece of Arkansas measuring 9x5 with varying thickness. It's a beautiful stone and lays nice enough to use as is.

The stone beside it is an 8x3 black.
