    I don't think there is any problem with them touching as you can remove them without scratching them. I try to leave a small space between them to avoid this.

    Some might be more sensitive than others.

    Mine are all in cardboard boxes with the idea that the cardboard protects them from light scratches and bumps while still allowing water vapor to escape in case they are inadvertently stored before being completely dry.

    I also use the empty boxes as drying racks as can be seen with the King 800 on the right side.

    I am glad to see that I am not the only one who keeps them under the bed. For my favorites and general use I prefer under the couch [In the living room.] for easier access!

    my synthetics go on a shelf /bookcase type thing next to my razor work tools ect !! my coticule's and thuri's

    are in a foam lined box that i keep under my pillow guarded at night !

    Hi Utopian, No not anymore

    I have tried it on really damaged edges with several layers of tape on the spine, it worked;
    Now I have a DMT.
